(RP=92) Pretty scents of tangerine, red berries, crisp green apples, and warm biscuits introduce the NV Extra Brut Rose Esprit de Craie, a medium to full-bodied, elegantly textural wine with a pretty core of fruit, a delicate mousse, and a vibrant, sapid finish. Disgorged in June 2017, it's a supremely classy rose from Varnier-Fanniere.

(AG=90) Varnier's NV Extra Brut Rose Esprit de Craie is bright, tense, and humming with vibrancy. Cranberry white flowers, chalk, mint, white pepper, and orange peel all contribute to the wine's lifted, vibrant personality. There is so much to like in this nervous, ethereal Champagne. Disgorged: February 2017. Dosage is 6 grams per liter.

(WS=89) This accessible version is fresh and balanced. Lively, with subtle notes of nectarine, sliced almond, pink grapefruit pith, and anise. Disgorged July 2017. Drink now.
