商品系列: Bruno Giacosa
Bruno Giacosa dedicated his remarkable career of nearly eight decades to crafting the most esteemed single-vineyard Barolo and Barbaresco wines. At the young age of 15, he became part of his family’s winemaking business, representing the third generation of Langhe winemakers. Giacosa possessed an unwavering commitment to achieving perfection, an unparalleled palate, and an intimate understanding of the vineyards in the Langhe region. These qualities swiftly garnered recognition for both himself and the Piedmont area, establishing it as a world-leading wine-producing region.
In 1980, Giacosa commenced acquiring exceptional plots of land in Serralunga d’Alba, La Morra, and Barbaresco, with the purpose of creating wines that would rightly be regarded as the utmost expressions of Nebbiolo. These wines have earned a well-deserved reputation as being of exceptional quality. Giacosa’s legacy now resides with his daughter, Bruna, who faithfully carries forward her father’s winemaking philosophy. She remains dedicated to honouring traditional techniques while incorporating the best of modern technology. The ultimate objective is for each distinctive vineyard site to produce expressive and unique wines that showcase its individual character and qualities.
Today, Bruno Giacosa has over 20 hectares of vineyards. They’re Asili and Rabaja in the Barbaresco zone, and La Morra and Serralunga in Barolo. The Bruno Giacosa estate produces around 400,000 bottles of wine per year. Only the exceptional vintages which pass Giacosa’s standards are released, and the Giacosa Riserva is given a red label.
