AG=91, WA=90-92 Aromas of cherries, cassis, loamy soil and spices preface the 2020 Gevrey-Chambertin Village, a medium-bodied, lively, precise and nicely concentrated wine that exemplifies the ideal of intensity without weight. It is well worth seeking out. AM=89-91 Outstanding! An exceptionally bright and cool aromas include those of both red and dark currant along with hints of game and pungent earth. Here too the medium-bodied flavors possess a really lovely texture while exhibiting fine length on the youthfully austere, saline and balanced finish. This well-made effort should mature on the early side relatively speaking but easily last a decade or more.
