Wine Maker's Comment: As all barrels must be new one day, I raised part of the 1er Ponts in new barrels. I am forbidden to introduce them in Les 1er Ponts. They will need more bottle aging in order to regain its natural balance. I did not intend to make the Les 1er Ponts in new barrels but when you are a "Tête de Ponts" you dare everything.
