WA=92 Monnot's 2017 Meursault 1er Cru Les Charmes is a success, offering up aromas of ripe lemons, citrus oil, honeycomb and a deft touch of new wood. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, ample and nicely concentrated, with a deep, layered core and a compelling sense of completeness. While it will drink well young, this has the substance to evolve in bottle.
