(WS=91) This muscular red is brooding, with blackberry coulis, spiced plum and cassis flavours underscored by floral and liquorice snap accents. Hints of garrigue and peppercorn lend a savoury appeal through the tannic finish. Drink now through 2021.

(WA=89-91) A blend of mostly Grenache, with 30% Syrah and 20% Carignan, the 2014 Cotes du Roussillon Villages Les Dentelles offers a medium-bodied, fresh, elegant profile to go with outstanding notes of black raspberries, sappy garrigue, liquorice and pepper. Raised in a mix of older barrels and concrete tanks, it will drink nicely right out of the gate and keep for 7-8 years.
