Type: White Wine Volume: 750ml
Country: Germany Region: Pfalz
Ratings and Tasting Notes:(JS=94) The very flinty rather closed nose that suggests this still needs some time to open up. However, this is a concentrated and sophisticated wine that proves Germany can play in the global first league for this grape. As it aerates more and more, candied citrus emerges long and elegant on the mineral finish. Comparable with a Premier Cru white Burgundy. Better from 2018. Screw cap closure. (WS=91) A stylish white, with leesy, creamy and minerally aromas. Intense and concentrated, this delivers hints of fleur de sel, citrus and white peach, all held within a silky and focused framework. Delicious now, but will improve. Best from 2021 through 2028.
