WA=93 The Conti Costanti 2017 Brunello di Montalcino is nicely layered and concentrated, with immediate delivery of black fruit, spice and potting soil. This vintage shows a savoury personality more than it shows a sweet one, and the tannins are quite soft and velvety. This is an open-knit Brunello from a hot and dry vintage to drink in the medium term.

AG=93. WS=92 A vibrant style, this features strawberry, cherry, floral and mineral flavours, with hints of tobacco, iron and underbrush chiming in as this turns more compact on the finish. Has a fine overall balance and length. Best from 2024 through 2042.
