10/24/2021 - CWILLIAM WROTE: 94 Points Atlanta no-name Wine Tasting Group - Italy again.: Wine #9 in Blind Tasting (Italy ex. Barolo and Brunello) Loved this wine. Dark red colour. On the nose, sweet cherry, glycerin, baking spice, leather and cherry pit. On the palate, similar flavours to nose - full-body, low tannins, medium acidity and very long finish. Tied for my WOTN with a 2010 Le Macchiole "Paleo" Cab Franc. Awesome. 94+

10/21/2021 - NYCCABLOVER LIKES THIS WINE: Rome, Florence, Bologna - Delayed 60th birthday trip; 10/19/2021-11/1/2021 (Rome, Florence, Bologna): From the wine list at Al Moro (Rome) - decanted for about 45 minutes while we enjoyed our starter half bottle of Vermentino. This was really enjoyable - did not seem overly heavy or high in alcohol despite the 15.5%. Lovely nose of dark fruit and baking spices. On the palate, this was dark red and black fruit, some raisins and walnuts, spices and enough acidity to stay fresh with a long persistent finish. One of our favourite restaurants in Rome and it was great to be back after the long Covid hiatus.

10/9/2021 - ACALDER9 LIKES THIS WINE: 94 Points Multi-layered, strong fruit but not a berry bomb like certain new world wines. A really fun wine.

8/12/2021 - CHARLESKORN LIKES THIS WINE: 94 Points Honestly this is fantastic. Balanced but very robust. Body, structure, length. It’s a bit more fruit-forward. It’s almost like a big cab, but instead of being an abrasive American, it’s an elegant Italian :)
