WA=96 A cellar selection of the best lots, Nitro's 2019 Condrieu Heritage is typically about 50% barrel aged, whereas the other cuvées run about 40% barrel and 60% tank. Whatever the oak regimen, it's a minor element of the wine, with the emphasis on flowers, peppery spice and ripe apricots. Full-bodied and rich, it nevertheless reveals remarkable freshness and length on the finish—a true exemplar of the appellation.
