AM=89-91 This too is super-fresh with its decidedly cool array of various black fruit scents that are cut with pretty spice and earth nuances. There is both better volume and concentration to the stony and vibrant flavours that culminate in a firmer, youthfully austere and slightly more complex finale. Good stuff.

WA=88+ Aromas of cassis, plums and wild berries, framed by toasty new oak, introduce Charlopin's 2019 Marsannay Les Echezeaux, a medium to full-bodied, rich and nicely concentrated wine that's quite structured and serious out of the gates. This will merit a few years' patience.
