WA=89 From several parcels to the south of the village, amounting to some two hectares in total, the 2019 Gevrey-Chambertin Terres Blanches offers up aromas of cassis, berries, petals and orange rind, framed by toasty new oak. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and easygoing, it's open-knit and charming, with melting tannins and succulent acids.

AM=88-91 Moderate reduction knocks down the fruit though there is fine intensity to the super-sleek and detailed medium-bodied flavours that also possess a highly attractive texture before concluding in a saline-inflected and mildly austere finale. This too could use more depth and thus I would recommend cellaring it for 5 to 8 years.
