Ratings and Tasting Notes:

(JS=91) Blackberries and spices on the nose. Brambleberries, too. Full body, firm and chewy tannins with focus and tannic tension. Needs time to soften and fill in the middle palate. Try from 2022.

(AG=89) The 2016 Bel-Air-Ouÿ, part of Jean-Luc Thunevin's portfolio, offers attractive kirsch, wild strawberry and vanilla scents on the nose, which is quite backward and shows a slight bell pepper edge. The palate is medium-bodied with grippy tannin, quite full in the mouth and need a little more tension, but offers clean fruit and a pleasant candied finish.
