Ratings and Tasting Notes:
(JS=92-93) A juicy and thick white with lots of cooked-apple and pear character. Full body and an intense finish. (RP=92) The 2016 La Louviere Blanc features loads of lime, lemons and yuzu on the nose with wet pebbles and blanched almonds in the background. The palate is medium-bodied, crisp and zesty with great poise and length. (WS=90) Lively fleur de sel, chamomile and honeysuckle notes dart out first, backed by racy lemon peel and star fruit flavors. Pure, with good tension through the finish. Drink now through 2020. 5,000 cases made. (AG=87-89) A host of citrus-inflected flavors, along with hints of white pepper and flowers, shape the 2016 La Louviere Blanc. Deep and pliant, with good energy through to the finish, the 2016 has plenty to offer.
