(RP=87) Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, the 2016 Barreyres gives notes of crushed black raspberries, black cherries and warm plums with touches of dried herbs and black olives. Medium to full-bodied, it has bags of juicy fruit and an approachable chewy texture with a peppery lift on the finish.
