Ratings and Tasting Notes:
(JS=94) The aromas of blueberries and lavender are so enticing. Full body, yet it's tight and compact with a big, rich palate. Layers of ripe tannins. One for the cellar. Try after 2023 and beyond.
(RP=86-88) The 2016 La Fleur Morange has a ripe black cherry, cassis and violet scented bouquet that needs a little more delineation. The palate is sweet and fleshy on the entry, smooth tannin, maybe needing a little more delineation and structure on the finish. Not bad, although I would have liked to see more complexity at this nascent stage.
