Ratings and Tasting Notes:
The « Clos des Meix Chavaux » is the largest single-owned vineyard in Meursault of just under 3.5 hectares in total. At 250m altitude, the soil is deeper, therefore allowing the vines to descend further and giving the wine an opulent and aromatic style.
4.0 - Tried in Mar 2021, a score of 92-93/100. Subtle touch of oak, vanilla, popcorn, butter, yogurt, pineapple, guava, peach, apricot, pear, golden apple, hazelnut. Medium-straw and green in color, medium+ to full-bodied, high acidity. - Wonjong Lee (400 ratings)Mar 12, 2021
5.0 - Perfect Burgundy blanc. Light amber colored, weak walnut and almond butter, pineapple flavor, its texture is fine and gives a long soft finish. Well cellared, well balanced, this is a faultless bottle. It doesn't need breeding, just be careful temp. Perfect - Haebum Park (217 ratings)Jun 5, 2020

7/28/2018 - CHARLEMAGNEFINEWINES LIKES THIS WINE: 94 Points - Generous mid-palate, extraordinary fruit, dried apricot, delicate honied notes with some marmalade, burned almond..There is a great structure and a backbone to this wine. It will do better and better with some time. Lush.
