Ratings and Tasting Notes:
(JS=93) Tight and focused red with plum, currant, and light vanilla character. Medium to full body, silky tannins, and a flavorful finish. Just a hint of new wood on the finish. Give it time to come together more in the bottle. Try drinking in 2019.
(AG=89-92) The 2014 Fleur Morange is an attractive, mid-weight St.-Emilion. The flavors are quite bold and ripe, yet the wine retains a silky, mid-weight personality, with good energy and fine overall balance. Smoke, new leather, licorice, and savory herb overtones linger on the close. The 2014 is approximately 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc that spent 30 days on the skins. New oak is 100%.
